Junior Varsity Basketball – Girls

Team Information

At Digistorm School, our Junior Varsity Girls Basketball program builds the foundation for success — on and off the court. The Dragons JV team is where athletes sharpen their skills, grow their teamwork, and develop the confidence to compete at the next level. Whether players are new to basketball or working toward a varsity spot, every athlete is encouraged to bring passion, effort, and Dragon pride to every game.

Our coaching philosophy centres around growth, sportsmanship, and resilience. We believe that every training session and game is an opportunity to learn, improve, and support one another — preparing each athlete for success in future seasons.

Prior Coaching Experience:
Coach Santos brings extensive experience in youth and high school basketball development. Before joining Digistorm, she served as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Riverside High, where she helped guide the team to back-to-back regional playoff appearances. She has also worked in several community sports programs focused on developing young female athletes.

Athletic Background:
A former collegiate point guard, Coach Santos played four seasons at Pacific Coast University, where she captained her team in her senior year. Her playing experience and passion for mentoring young athletes have shaped her player-first coaching style — focused on fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence.
